EXPERIENCE
Mr. O'Connor has structural design experience on a wide range of buildings, including concrete,
masonry, steel, and wood-framed single- and multi-storied commercial and residential
structures. Recent projects include the Washoe County Public Safety Center Burn Tower, a six-
story concrete and masonry firefighter training facility in Reno, Nevada; the Buckley Residence,
a 13,000 s.f. concrete and steel home located on the shoreline of Lake Tahoe; the Hayes
Residence, a 5100 s.f. steel and masonry home located in Minden, Nevada; Johnson Elementary
School, a steel and masonry school located in Gerlach, Nevada; and the CitiVista Senior Living
center, a five-story wood-framed apartment building in Reno, Nevada.
Mr. O'Connor also has experience with the seismic retrofit of historic buildings, including the
McKinley Park School and the 1870 Washoe County Courthouse in Reno, Nevada.
